Adult Formation and Enrichment
Adoration Chapel
Eucharistic Adoration is every Friday (except Good Friday), after the 6:15 a.m. Mass until 9:00 p.m. The Adoration Chapel is located in the Vestibule of the Cathedral. You can spend as much time as you wish, although most people commit to one hour a week (“Holy Hour”) before the Blessed Sacrament. Kathleen Whyte, 602-242-1300 ext. 155.
Cursillo
A method to find, form, and sustain lay leadership for Christ and His Church. Cursillo offers a simple method to develop a Christian spirituality and become active in the community. It teaches piety-holiness, study-formation, and action-evangelization. The Cursillo is offered in Spanish and English. Check the bulletin for the details and upcoming Cursillos. Legion of Mary
The Legion of Mary is an association of lay Catholic men and women who give a few hours on a weekly basis to pray and do the apostolic work of bringing others closer to God and His Church. All practicing Catholics, men and women, married or single, may participate in this apostolic work. For membership in an adult group one must be 18 years of age. Those under 18 years may join the Juniors. Both active and auxiliary (praying) memberships are available. Sally Daley, 602-973-9710
RCIA Team
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is the process by which mean and women enter full communion with the Catholic Church. Our RCIA Team assists them in this spiritual journey. Classes are Monday at 7:00 p.m. in St. Bridget’s Room. Susan Pietro, 623-561-6989. RCIA Sponsor Sponsors aid in the formation of RCIA candidates and catechumens. SAS (Socially Active Seniors)
Our Senior/Retired parishioners get together every 2nd and 3rd Wednesday from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, in St. Bridget’s Room, to play card games, Bingo, or just to sit and visit. We have a 50/50 drawing at every meeting, enjoy snacks and have periodic field trip outings, luncheons and speakers. Dee Medina, 602-242-1300, ext. 110
Families ReMembering
This special program assists families who have been away from the Church and who would like to return. It catechizes the whole family and prepares members to receive the Sacraments and become active parish members. Meetings in English are on Wednesdays, 6:45 - 8:15 p.m., and in Spanish on Thursdays, 6:45 - 8:15 p.m. Sr. Loreto Downing, 602-433-7610
